Dominic Mercer

Dominic has worked in residential conveyancing since he qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and joined SO Legal in 2021.
Before joining SO Legal, Dominic worked for a reputable regional firm for eight years, where he was a partner for three years.
He has a diverse range of clients, including developers, companies, investors, and individuals. He has built close links with many local estate agents, financial advisers, accountants, and other businesses. He takes pride in looking after his clients with a calm, personal and proactive approach.
Dominic can advise on all aspects of residential property matters, including; residential sales and purchases, high-value properties, buy-to-let investments, mortgages and remortgages, transfers of equity, new build properties, equity release and voluntary lease extensions.
Dominic studied Politics at Kingston University and graduated with a BA with Honours in 2006. He went on to study Law at the College of Law in Guildford, attaining an LLB with Honours, before completing the Legal Practice Course.
Outside work, he is a keen sportsman and enjoys cycling, skiing and playing badminton. Born in Brighton, he is an avid supporter of Brighton and Hove Albion.
