Katie joined our Brighton team as a trainee in 2022, having graduated from the University of Southampton and earned a distinction in the Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) at BPP University.

She is now a qualified solicitor after successfully completing her training contract and passing the Solicitors Qualification Exams (SQE) with flying colours.

Katie will now take up a permanent position in our commercial property team, where she assists clients with all matters relating to buying, selling, and leasing commercial property, working hard to ensure that transactions proceed smoothly and efficiently.

James Halpin, head of commercial property, said:

"Congratulations to Katie on her well-deserved qualification. She will undoubtedly benefit our clients with her talent and the knowledge she gained during her training, and we are delighted to have her on board."

Hamed Ovaisi, co-founder and managing director, said:

"Qualifying as a solicitor is a great accomplishment, and it speaks volumes about Katie's hard work and dedication. Her commitment to her work at SO Legal is reflected in this success, and we couldn't be more proud of her. We wish her the best as she progresses in her legal career."
