This morning I enjoyed a classic English Breakfast, at the Dickens Tea Cottage, a traditional and very English cafe located on South Street. It was very tasty and more than enough to keep me full for the morning.
After work, I went to the seafront, and enjoyed the sunny weather and the beautiful view of the of the Channel from the pier.

Fourth day at SO Legal. It was an important networking day for the business. Firstly, Lisa and I went to the Let’s Do Business Eastbourne Expo, which is a networking event held at the Winter Gardens theatre with many business exhibitors. These kinds of events are interesting initiatives allowing professionals to meet, exchange and develop mutual relationships. How it works is quite simple: professionals register in advance with the organisers and, if they wish, advertise their company by holding a stand in which they place marketing materials. Each of these professionals then introduce their company to each other in terms of what they do, what their values are, what strengths they have and what mutual interests they share. Most of them were encouraging the visitors to give them their cards with all sorts of lotteries or awards.
The second networking event was SO Legal’s initiative: sponsoring the launch of Eastbourne Professionals Club, which is going to be hosted on a monthly basis at Cru, an excellent restaurant and wine bar on Hyde Gardens in Eastbourne. I joined SO Legal’s team there and we spent a lovely time, meeting other professionals and enjoying the warm welcome of the restauranteurs.
