Fundraising Month at SO Legal continues this June and our very own Hamed Ovaisi is soon to be challenging his body to its limits. Following a year of seemingly absolute commitment to avoiding training, our Francophile Director is going to be cycling from Eastbourne Pier to Paris to raise money for chosen charity, Para-Monte.
Alongside business colleagues from the local community, he will be pushing almost 200miles for the charity, which is very close to his heart, on a journey that will mean over 15 hours of pure peddling. The countdown to 16 June begins..
Hamed Ovaisi determined, “there’s no set route, I just go with the flow”.
Para-Monte (meaning ‘Beyond the Mountain) was set up to raise awareness about altitude sickness following a well-known, healthy 25-year old Eastbournite and friend of SO Legal lost his life to the illness whilst travelling Peru.
