David advises on the full range of commercial property transactions, and has particular expertise in the fields of residential and commercial property development, Town and Country Planning and construction contracts. He also handles a number of commercial property SIPP pension fund sales, purchases and leases. He acts for developers, landowners, investors and owners and occupiers of buildings.
After qualifying as a solicitor in 1982, he worked for several years in the commercial property department of leading law firm Clifford Chance in the City of London until 1991, after which he became a partner in a West End London law firm and started to specialise in property development. In 1998 he made a quality of life move down to Sussex, where he has worked for two large regional law firms and still continues to specialise in property development, planning and construction work, whilst also undertaking the full range of commercial property transactions. He also deals with leases, sales and purchases of agricultural land.
When not working, David enjoys the outdoors, having recently walked the South Downs Way. He also enjoys sailing and goes to concerts and operas as often as he can.
